distinctive markings of Brown Line™ products can be used with any manufacturer'
brand which enable users to quickly distinguish between approved compostable
and non-compostable products in the waste stream. These are products
that totally compost, even in modern very short-cycle systems.

Compostable Certification
Cedar Grove Composting offers a program of technical review and testing of compostable products for their feasibility in a commercial composting process. As new products are developed to fill the need for more options, Cedar Grove provides the know how to determine how well the products will break down in its state-of-the art composting system.
EcoSafe® only recommends products that carry the BPI and/or BNQ certification and have been tested and approved by Cedar Grove. All recommended products are identified with the “Brown Line” markings.
